Linda Brodson's glass is a study in surface, textures and the interplay of light and reflection.  Discovering ways to incorporate her background as a watercolor painter into glass has been an evolving and challenging process.  The common bond between the two materials is color and its ability to draw in the viewer.  Linda creates complex surfaces which force an appreciation of minute details as well as an overall enjoyment of the whole piece.  As an artist with 10 years of experience working with glass, Linda has developed a technique using Alkyd and Acrylic enamels to enhance her surfaces.  These, combined with a vast vocabulary of color applications, capture her unique vision.  Her natural intuition to grow and explore has pushed her work beyond the glass of many artists. Linda's glass sculpture is inspired by extensive travels and a love of nature.
